The "Job Academy" project aims to assist job-seekers who are having difficulty finding employment. The idea is to open the door for them into the network of companies with links to the Legrand Group, to give them the maximum possible number of contacts and opportunities. In the first instance, the Legrand Foundation wishes to support people from underprivileged neighbourhoods, with a "Special Youth Job Academy". It works with the Job Centre to carry out the following local actions:
In 2014, the Legrand Foundation became a sponsor of one edition of the Job Academy. Some Group staff got involved in voluntary work, running group workshops or sponsoring job-seekers, to help them develop their talent and professional competencies, network effectively and gain a better understanding of the company’s skills, its code sand its organisation.
In 2015, the Legrand Foundation took an active part in other Job Academy operations, in cities including Pau and Le Mans.
For us, Job Academy is an innovative and positive professional approach to job-hunting
